- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lifestyle & Engagement shoots start at $300. Wedding Packages start at $1800. Please inquire for details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Engaged couples must submit a $100 retainer at the time of signing their contract, and the remaining balance is due one day prior to the engagement shoot. All contracts, exchange of fees, and other communications are handled through email via HoneyBook. Potential wedding clientele may schedule a pre-booking consultation via FaceTime. At the time of booking a $400 retainer must be paid, as well as a contract signed by both partners. Post signing I send over a “highlights” questionnaire for couples to film out, and 6 weeks prior a “final details” questionnaire. Wedding balances are due in full two weeks prior to the date booked.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have BFA from Kansas City Art Institute, where my work was primarily photo and video based. During college I gained experience in art documentation, portrait photography, and production (film set) photography. I also studied a semester abroad in Florence, Italy where I studied 35mm photography. In early 2017 I started my professional photography business. Within a year and half’s time I have shot numerous weddings, engagements, and lifestyle session for a broad range of clientele.
