- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on the job. Most corporate events run $175/hour with a 2-hour minimum, and edited photos are included. Individual portraits start at $250/hour with 10 edited photos included. Company headshot pop-ups are $75 per person with a 10-person minimum. Video coverage starts at $125/hour. Every job is different — share your date, location, and what you need covered and you'll get an exact quote before you book. No surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Consultation call to discuss your event and needs. 2) Custom quote plus a HoneyBook booking link to reserve your date. 3) Shoot day — we arrive prepared and capture everything. 4) Online gallery with download links. Typical delivery: highlight recap in 3–5 business days, full galleries in 7–10 business days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Working-professional trained: Derick shoots on professional Canon gear (EOS R5) with professional lighting and broadcast-quality audio, edits in Adobe Premiere Pro, and has published photography and interviews in multiple publications.
