FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Option 1 I provide transparent, upfront pricing so customers know what to expect before work begins. Most jobs are priced either by the project or hourly depending on the scope. I also try to offer fair rates and discounts for repeat customers or multiple projects completed during the same visit. Option 2 My goal is to keep pricing simple and fair. Smaller repairs are usually billed hourly, while larger projects are quoted ahead of time so there are no surprises. If a job ends up taking less time than expected, you only pay for the work actually done. Option 3 I offer competitive local pricing with clear estimates before starting any work. There are no hidden fees, and I’m always happy to discuss options to fit your budget. I also offer discounts for seniors, veterans, and repeat clients when possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Option 1 First, I talk with the customer about their project and gather details, photos, or measurements if needed. Then I provide an estimate and schedule a time that works for them. Once the work is completed, I make sure everything is cleaned up and the customer is satisfied. Option 2 I start by understanding exactly what the customer needs done. If necessary, I visit the property or review pictures to give an accurate estimate. After agreeing on the scope of work, I schedule the job and keep the customer informed throughout the process. Option 3 Communication is the first step. I ask questions about the project, provide a clear quote, and set a convenient appointment time. My goal is to complete the job efficiently while making sure the customer is happy with the results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Option 1 My experience comes from years of hands-on work in home repair, maintenance, and improvement projects. I stay updated on best practices and use quality tools and materials to make sure repairs are done correctly. Option 2 I have practical training from working in construction and home maintenance environments where I learned skills like drywall repair, fixture installation, carpentry, and general home repairs. Option 3 Most of my training comes from real-world experience working on residential maintenance projects. Over time I’ve developed strong skills in troubleshooting problems and completing repairs efficiently and safely.
