Danielle Stanton is no doubt one of the most talented teachers of anything I've met in my entire life . . . and I'm a seventy-year-old educator and grandmother. She's incredibly bright and knowledgeable about math; but--far more important to me--she knows how to "read" kids and to adapt what and how she teaches to the individual. My ten-year-old grandson has made remarkable progress with Danielle's help in just a few weeks, and he describes every session as being just plain fun--according to him, in fact, "better than a play date!" I became alarmed when he seemed unable to learn his multiplication tables by the middle of fourth grade. That same "reluctant" learner has now made it through memorizing his 7s in less than a month. I spent thousands of dollars dragging him to boring, after-school, semi-private "math-enrichment" lessons at a branded local math franchise several days each week, including summers, for over two years. My grandson hated those sessions because he hated learning math from dull, impersonal worksheets--the same system that was failing him at his private Montessori school. As I suspected, "practice, practice, practice" isn't always the answer!! This same child is now up at the white board beside Danielle, actively engaged, laughing with her, at her, and at himself, jumping around on his toes in excitement, and spouting the multiplication tables both quickly and accurately. Learning the basics, however, is just the starting point. Danielle takes him well beyond the basics during every tutoring session and shows him how applied mathematics underpins most of the things in which he has a much deeper interest--design, engineering, construction, motors, airplanes, etc. She moves quickly, talks quickly, reasons quickly, and manages to teach math basics quickly without focusing exclusively on them. As a result, Danielle is able to engage my grandson's full attention and to ignite a willingness to learn what before he found simply boring. Side benefits? His self-esteem and self-confidence are soaring!

My daughter has struggled the last two years in algebra II and calculus until she started going to see Danielle. Her grades improved dramatically and it turned into one of her favorite subjects. I would instantly recommend her and I hope she's around all the way through college! 5 stars for sure!
