I was first contacted by Shelby (office worker) who was very pleasant and gave me a quote over the phone. After I explained my needs, Shelby told me that she could have 2 guys and a truck at my place within 2 hours. Nick and Bobby showed up at scheduled and was ready to get started.
The guys were very pleasant and thorough when explaining what they could and could not do.I wasn’t as organized as some people, when moving, but they grabbed what I asked them to get and had everything done in 3 hours.
GetItDoneKC is a very professional company and I would highly recommend to anyone. If I had to move again, I wouldn’t hesitate to reach h out and hire the company for their services again.
Thanks for making my move much smoother than expected.

Polite, the whole team was very polite. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. Mike, the owner says all the right things and is understanding & very kind. He wasn’t able to be with the team of three I hired when they arrived. They came a 1/2 hr after time scheduled, I was communicated with on their needing to be late, it didn’t matter, but it was what was so. Overall the move was good. But, two pieces of furniture were scratched and one broken. I was compensated, I believe 25 or $50 for the broken item. Other items I requested to be moved were not moved. It was a three hour move and I appreciate that they got things done in three hours, but, I’d of preferred they took more time and care. I spoke with Mike about all this and he promised to be back in touch with me and move the items that were not moved. This never happened and it has been five days now. Today I moved the items myself. I’m sorry to not leave a better review & sorry my move with them wasn’t better. Moving is difficult at best. Really nice team of local men.

Its so unfortunate that this happened. Like Nancy mentioned I wasn't there and my team was a little late to arrive. We our going to use this experience as a lesson moving forward. However, my team did mention a lot of Nancy's belonging were damaged before we began moving. The item I saw damaged was from Ikea and was particle board, which I did refund. bottom line, we should have done better and been on time. We will use this as a lesson moving forward and feel grateful for your honest feedback. Lets Get it Done!

I rarely write reviews because it feels like every business wants one. But when I’ve had an exceptional experience (good or bad), I make the time. I recently hired Getitdonekc to assist with my move and it was a phenomenal experience!
The movers I hired didn’t show up. I contacted them in a panic and they were able to accommodate a same day request. Michael was responsive, professional and very helpful. The crew was amazing! Bobby kept me apprised of their schedule and arrived right on time. They were friendly, patient and extremely efficient. More importantly, they were careful with our things! I’ve moved several times with the military and was quite impressed. If I am in need of movers in the future, I’ll contact Getitdonekc without hesitation. Super fast and really amazing service. We had to pack our (cluttered to death) 1 bedroom apt. and they had 3 guys that got it done in 2 hours - unloading was super fast as well. Will use them again. Very responsive - we hired them on a Friday and they came on Saturday afternoon and got it done - and cheerful the whole time, asking questions in each room if there was anything odd-looking or something I had indicated I wanted to do myself. Love these guys and will use again when I move again.
