- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $25 an hour. However, if there is a special occasion and a time limit is required for an upcoming event, there are times that an extra person must be brought in to insure that time limit is achieved. Under these circumstances, the rate would have to be $50 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everybody has certain things they want done a particular way. I like to know what a customers comfort level is and what is required of me to maintain it prior to beginning any work on their home. I then go over the details of what the customer wants cleaned on a regular basis as well as any special requests for that day pertaining to detailed cleaning or organization.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been very particular about keeping things clean and organized. Often times friends and family would come to my home and asked me how much I would charge to do the same for them. Over time they began referring me to other people. So I have decided to try my luck at making this my personal business.
