FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Anyone who has worked with a great travel agent will tell you that they’re worth their weight in gold. Aside from taking the stress out of travel planning and dealing with snafus while you’re on the road, they can also open doors to reservations, experiences, and activities that you might otherwise not be able to find on your own. Our agency makes the majority of our money on commissions paid to us by hotels, airlines, tour operators, and cruise ships. Those relationships take years to establish and the big travel companies also give agents access to special deals and discounts that you normally can’t find yourself by searching on Expedia, Priceline, Booking.com, or any of the other online travel agencies and meta-search sites. So what does that mean for you? The lowest and best rates possible for all of your travel guaranteed!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are very detailed we like to get to know you as a client and the details of your trip and how we can make it exceed your expectations and needs. And from their we get to work presenting options directly to you via email on the best pricing, hotels, etc. and then we finalize that with payment and a complete custom and finalized itinerary going our that in detail with you and answering any and all questions. And we don't stop at that we make sure you arrive and if their is anything we can arrange along the way we do that for clients everyday. And on your way home were checking on you to make sure your flight home was a breeze!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
An associate's degree in travel and tourism is more comprehensive and can lead to other careers than as a travel agent we also have Travel Agent Certifications. Our Agency requires employees to have some level of formal training. Associate's degrees can help lead to other jobs in the field and continuing education helps agents keep up with changes in the industry. We like to stay in the know so we enroll in continuing education courses to keep up with changes in the travel industry. Customs, travel regulations and travel advisories are constantly changing, so agents must be able to keep their travel knowledge current and relevant.
