FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick conversation to understand the project, then schedule an on-site visit to take measurements, photos, and discuss design options. You’ll get a clear written estimate with a full scope of work. If you decide to move forward, we handle permitting, ordering materials, keeping you updated, and completing the job with a clean, professional finish. You get financing options and a customer portal for maximum communication. You can see progress photos and have all your documents in one place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
First of all, I have a ton of certifications and licenses I’ve accumulated over the years not counting the many preferred contractor awards we’ve been given. Why is this relavant to you? I’m a licensed General Contractor with years of hands-on experience in remodeling, excavation, project management, and exterior systems. I continually train on industry best practices, new products, building codes, and technology like EagleView, Hover, and digital estimating tools to deliver accurate and reliable results. The biggest advantage for you is that I actually hold the qualified individual license as opposed to paying someone else to hold that license for me to do the work. I am very proud of this because it simply means I know the international residential building codes and will go above and beyond them to make your experience great.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up around construction, jumped into remodeling early, and spent years managing large-scale excavation and residential projects. Eventually I built my own home-improvement business focused on windows, siding, roofing, and exterior upgrades. Quality work and customer service have always been my focus, so building Mr. Home Renewal was a natural next step.
