FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Definitely. Not only are the tools always changing, but what clients need has changed tremendously. Print is no longer as important as it used to be, because of the web and the development of mobile devices. Being flexible and keeping up with developments is extremely important. I read and frequently take online classes to update my skills. I'm currently certified by W3Schools in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. PHP and jQuery certification is on my to-do list.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Art has been important to me all my life, and I've also always loved books and the printed page. Graphic design was a natural way to combine those basic interests and earn a living at the same time. That all translated quite easily to design and development of websites.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Nowadays, it's websites, websites, websites, plus some logos.
