What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Part of my rate includes the time it takes to travel to you. If I am seeing more than one student back-to-back, or for zoom-only tutoring, the per-hour rate will be slightly lower. Please ask for details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please let me know what subject the student is studying. In some long-term cases I may ask to see the class syllabus or current assignments prior to arrival, so that I can be the most effective.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a classroom teacher in math and science. I have also worked at the local community college as a math teacher for HS grads who needed a little extra help with their math before they could take college math classes. I currently work at the same college teaching High School Equivalency.
