Introduction: Because I am not your average studio photographer. My passion stems from creativity and I pour my soul into my work. My goal is to show the emotion you are feeling, the bonds of your relationships, and your own unique personality. Beyond my ambitions, what makes me different is my reasonable pricing for everything I include in the charge. I also have a background in early childhood education and therefore am excellent with children, which makes me an obvious choice for family sessions. The freedom to explore my creativity, push the boundaries, and do so with a variety of people.

Sarahann is a local St. Louis photographer who specializes in photos that compliment memorable moments in life (ex. Weddings, engagements, graduation, birth announcements, etc.). They are classicly and skillfully captured and rendered. I, on the other hand, have the pleasure of experiencing the playful side of Chaotic Perspectives. When Sarahann and I have the opportunity to "go out and play" we are able to push the boundaries of traditional and dance around our own imaginary worlds. I have played cops and robbers, became a pin-up girl, fought zombies, and even become a cartoon character. I look forward to pushing the creative envelope, past the comfort zone, and into new photographic territory. I also hope to see this creative side grow not only in the shoots but in the development process. (Sarahann - try more purple, I really liked it!)

These people clearly haven't bothered taking a professional course or college class on photography. They have no idea what correct lighting is, what aperture or depth of field is . I'm pretty sure they use a point and shoot camera. You're better off having your mom take your pictures for you.

Sarah Ann and her assistant were both very professional, fun, and energizing as they took our family pictures. The pictures we received as a result of our session were crystal clear, beautiful, and made us want to get more done for next year. You won't regret having them take your pictures!

These girls were great to work with, especially since I live in Alaska and have to communicate via email/sms/phone prior to the sitting. I love that my nieces and nephew feel comfortable and actually enjoy the whole process. The photos always turn out beautifully.Thank you, Sarah and CC for making the family visits worth it!

Omg how awful...they are wonderful and do amazing work....they do so much for others...people dont listen to other people see for yourself and do a session with them. also if you arent goingot put your name but you are going to put something so awful then that is a reason why no one should listen to you

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most often, we have sessions with couples and/or families. Families are fun because there are so many personalities to capture. We'll start out with full group shots, to get everyone used to the idea of being in front of the camera without singling anyone out to make them have that awkward "Oh, man, why do I have to go first?" moment. We'll have a little bit of conversation, and then we'll break into smaller groups and individuals to provide the best variety while keeping in the theme of making certain we capture who YOU are. Couples? Oooh, they're lots of fun, too. Our goal with couples is to show the relationship they share. Whether it be a couple that is dating, newly engaged, or have been married for forty years - they will share a dynamic that is unlike anyone else's. We'll capture that love, those quirks, and that individuality.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your homework! You don't want to hire a photographer without the experience to provide you with a service that will draw out your or your children's personalities. You also do not want to hire a photographer that cannot guarantee the quality of not only their images, but also the prints you'll receive after your session. Most importantly, you want to hire someone that you click with - so you can have FUN during your session! If you are relaxed in front of the camera lens, it shows. When you book a session with Chaotic Perspectives, this is what you'll be getting. You'll have fun with an experienced photographer and assistant that are completely dedicated to the time spent with you.. and then, you'll be thrilled with the images and prints.
