I am the 'Math Anxiety Fixerator'. With over 900 sessions in subjects from decimal arithmetic to differential equations, I have showed students how to master math. They grasped the material and performed masterfully in classes. After I retired and became a math tutor, one of my first tutoring students was the second baseman on a local high school team. He was getting 63% in algebra and needed 75% to stay on the squad. After two tutoring sessions, he improved to 97% on the next test. In the 1980's in addition to a full time job, I taught evening courses in math, computer science and statistics in an accelerated adult program at a local college while my wife, Diane, was at home with the kids.
