- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is determined on what the customer chooses for their menu, that is why I need more information before giving a solid quote. All my menus are custom to the client's wants and needs. Including disposables and/or rentals and any other extras.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The 1st step is generally a quick phone call to get more detail and then I will send menu options with pricing per person. From there we will go back-and-forth revising the menu until it's exactly where they wanted him within their budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Keeping up with trends in and varieties of cooking via various media is a great way to continue educating myself. I also enjoy networking with other chefs, which helps one stay current with trends. And last, but not least, experimental cooking at home with my wife has sparked many great dish ideas!
