- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price is determined by the task and the time, for example: for a remote session dealing with a virus removal can run between $50 and $75. If I am to go on site and set up a network or set up new PCs with data transfer can be $100-$200 depending on the time it takes to complete the task. Most issues are fairly basic and can be done remotely and usually between $50 and $100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer I will ask a simple series of questions to ensure they are comfortable with my services before moving forward. Once they are comfortable I like to ask them about their issue and if any other person has done any work on the current issue. Also finding out what computer knowledge the client has can be informative depending on how I need to approach the situation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
12 years experience with large IT firms in the Midwest area and even in Europe. I have an associate degree in computer science and security along with a bachelors degree in electronic engineering. my experience extends from basic installations and hardware repairs to complex network and server set up and maintenance. Along with The most common virus removal. Computer and work repair is my main expertise but I also repair any broken phone and tablet. I have an A+ and N+ certifications. Aside from large IT firms I have also started my own side business working with local clients,whether it is remote services or on-site work
