FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am reasonably priced, especially for the professional quality I offer. Remember: You usually get what you pay for!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer initiates with a call and we have a conversation about their needs, then we set an appointment to meet. If a fitting is needed, it will take place during the first meeting. If it is a sewing lesson, we can accomplish a lot during this first meeting. At the conclusion, we can discuss future needs and make plans accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked professionally in the sewing industry, beginning as a home seamstress, moving into a manufacturing plant to design and grade patterns and then to supervise quality control. I was an A student, but the only A+ I earned in college was in an advanced tailoring class. Then I went on to spend a couple of decades sewing for and teaching individuals how to sew for themselves.
