I highly recommend Melia and You're Covered Painting for quality work and a very friendly and responsive demeanor. We hired You're Covered to paint our foundation, and as she was working, she gave us an estimate to also paint our shutters (they definitely needed it.) All the work they did is so well done, and it actually transformed the exterior of our home. While preparing for the work, we discovered some foundation damage that needed to be repaired before she could complete the job, and when that work was finished by another contractor, Melia was back within days to paint the part of the foundation that wasn't ready when she came out here the first time.We now have You're Covered scheduled to come paint all the interior doors and trim in our house...and there is a lot of it! Quality work, friendly people, and fair prices...what more could you ask for?

. First of all the owner Melia tried to cancel our scheduled appointment the evening before. She showed up four hours late and did the job in four hours compared to the 9 hours she had originally quoted. There was no credit given for the difference in labor hours. After the job was done and I returned home from work to find paint dripped all over my carpet, paint on my furniture, which ruined the upholstery, paint dripped all over a brand new ceiling fan, three ruined lamp shades and an all over sloppy and less than professional job. At first she was only interested in the color of the paint stating she was painting grey and her helper was painting the ceiling white. To us it really made no difference to us who was at fault. Its her business and ultimately she is responsible. Then she was willing willing to send someone out to address the issues of the paint on the upholstery. When I contacted her cleaning guy Jerome he stated he had told her before he does not have good luck with paint removal on upholstery and declined to even come out to our home. Then she offered to come out her self to cleanup the paint mess ups and to be honest we declined her offer because if her professional cleaner declined we did trust her to destroy anymore of our property. We exchanged several text messages she offered 300.00 towards the 3500.00 in damages it was costing us to reupholster our couches, replace the lampshades, and have all the paint drips cleaned up. She also does not carry ANY BUSINESS LIABILITY INSURANCE!!! So we could not file a claim to recoup any money towards our property damage. I would never hire her to paint a shed much less allow her in your home. Consumer be ware. My Homeowners Insurance company said anyone doing business with ANY contractor needs to get proof of insurance directly from her agent. As to avoid being lied to or misled. This all occurred this past Spring 2020.

This is absolutely not true. We asked to reschedule the job, due to a truck issue. We came out and painted and finished in the day that we told you it would take. There was a couple drips on the lamp & the couch, which as soon as you informed us, we immediately offered to come out and take care of and or send a professional cleaning company at which you denied and insisted it wasn't a big deal. You then called the next day and told us you used rubbing alcohol and goof off and "scrubbed too hard" on your furniture and bleached it out. We then offered to give you half of your project back, which you denied and insisted we pay for the entire couch, carpet and mutliple other things that was never mentioned. We told you that we did not have insurance and offered again the same offer. Which you informed us, you were turning into your insurance. At which time, we said we would be happy to speak with your insurance and show them the entire text messages we had with you, which angered you even more. Because it would show the damage to your items, was due to your neglect in not letting a professional company take care of it. And the act of using rubbing alcohol which ultimately caused your damage. We again apologize about the issue. We are human as well and sometimes make mistakes in life as well as everyone else. We went above and beyond trying to correct the issue immediately after you called and have text messages to prove so. We again are more than happy to speak with your insurance and show them the whole conversation. The carpet company declined to come because you called them AFTER only AFTER you had used rubbing alcohol and goof off. We tried to insist that you let us take care of it immediately. In which, you told us it was not a big deal. It only became a big deal when you used the alcohol on the couch and carpet

This company is excellent! They painted almost my entire home for a very reasonable price and in a brief time frame! They are meticulous and professional, while being extremely friendly and personable. Before they were done I wanted them to be my personal friends. We had some issues arise with our walls during the process and they handled them quickly and skillfully! They are very knowledgeable and worked diligently! They also didnt try to up-charge me because of the city I live in. I highly recommend this awesome team for any painting project!

We loved how our rooms turned out! Melia is efficient and meticulous with her work. She is so easy to work with and was even able to repaint my kitchen when my husband and I decided we needed to adjust the color - and in one day! We have more to do and will definitely call You're Covered Paining to do our next job. I highly recommend this amazing woman owned company! Here are a couple of before and after pictures.
