- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While I was a graduate student at Washington University in St. Louis, I started doing yoga to relieve stress. After 1.5 years of practice, my teacher asked if I would like to teach her class at Forest Park Community College. Then I entered a yoga teacher training program and was teaching for St. Louis Workout at the Chase Park Plaza and at Crestwood Mall. I learned about Thai Yoga massage in 2004, and received my first 16 hr training in 2006. After a career in Biotechnology, I realized I wanted to help people more directly, to help them become healthier in all aspects, it is then I started my path to helping others through massage and yoga full time in 2014.
