All my life, I have been around animals. My family always had dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, birds, and a lot of gerbils! They taught me how important it was to treat animals you have taken under your care as cherished members of your family. I'm the kind of person that has to ask politely if I can pet your dog and always have tried to catch strays to place them in no-kill shelters and forever homes. I did this even as a child! I have experience in pet-sitting dogs, cats, parakeets, cockatiels, parrots, small rodents, and fish. I have owned several dogs throughout my life and have loved each one of them. I currently have two cats, that both came from shelters. Neko is my one eyed boy and Kimara is my feisty girl!
I have never had any problems dealing with animals, and understand that some animals need space or time to get used to a new person. I really enjoy taking care of animals and treat them as if they were my very own.
