KodeNextDoor was born out of a shared passion for solving real-world problems through technology. Co-founders Nkazi Sibanda and Yousef Langi first met at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where they quickly bonded over a mutual love for coding and competing in hackathons. Their active participation in various STL | Hack events—and the awards they earned along the way—helped lay the foundation for something greater. Over time, Nkazi and Yousef tackled numerous projects through their professional careers and side work. But it wasn’t enough—they saw a bigger opportunity. Many small startups and local businesses struggled to gain traction due to a lack of technical resources. That’s when KodeNextDoor was created.
