Introduction: Writing and editing are my two most enduring passions. Through my time in college and in law school, I was lucky enough to have a unique exposure to a wide variety of writing styles for several contexts. Before graduating from college as a magna cum laude, I was selected to work as a writing consultant for the school, and there, I spent 3 years helping hundreds of students at different stages and levels of writing, whether it was a graduate student finalizing a thesis on mathematics education or an international student writing a personal statement in a beginner's English course. Providing such services allowed me to truly understand what it takes to create high-quality writing and helped me to enhance my scrupulous attention to detail. I took the invaluable skills I had developed working in the writing center, and I built upon them through every step of law school. I shined as a clerk for the federal district court, where I wrote memoranda regarding habeas corpus and social security disputes. Through my research assistant fellowship under a professor, I received direct and consistent feedback while writing publishable-quality articles. As an article editor for the school's Public Law Review, I improved my precision and thoroughness while meeting intensive deadlines. Finally, as an advocate on our school's international moot court team, I not only researched and wrote a memorandum on the complexities of international legal disputes, but I also enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to review and revise the memoranda written by my teammates. Each opportunity above has enhanced my skills as a writer and editor but more importantly, they have all reaffirmed what I am passionate about. I look forward to sharing my talents with you.
