- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I utilize flat-rate curbside pricing tiers (based on a standard bed of an F-150) as often as possible. I will confirm the final quote once I have a photo of the items. • Light Recycling / Cardboard — $60 • Small Load (¼ truck) — $90 • Half Load (½ truck) — $150 • Full Load (full bed) — $200
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer sends me a photo (or photos) of what they need picked up, and I will respond with a quote. If the customer would like to proceed, we will agree on a day for me to haul away the items. On the agreed-upon day, the customer will pile the items or junk outside, either on the driveway or the curb. I will come by that evening (or day if it is the weekend) and haul it away.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing this sort of work for as long as I can remember. I became a lot more passionate about it when I became a homeowner and had junk to get rid of just about every day!
