They were very responsive to my requests, and went out of their way to get me a comprehensive quote, despite my inability to meet them at the site where I wanted the work done (due to my travel obligations). Their bid was extremely thorough, and very competitively priced. Although I did not hire them for the work, it wasn't because of a lack of effort or competitive pricing on their part, but simply because another contractor (recommended by a close friend) gave me a very reasonable discount, and was able to start my project immediately. I was very impressed with my interactions with Barrale Brothers, and would definitely hire them for any future work.Oct 2, 2018Verified
We just bought an older home in Cedar Hill, MO and needed much updating. We had no idea where to start. Then, we found John and Mario! The Barrale Brothers are the ones to hire for ANY job as they can do it all! We called them with the intent to just to do floors. BUT, after meeting with them about the project and seeing the kitchen/dining room, they were able to take ideas we had and give us ideas on what could be done and merge them altogether PLUS some! It became a team effort designing the space and they made the vision come ALIVE with their expertise, quality and utmost professionalism. They were always on time, even in rain, snow, mud and hills. :) Everything they do is professional and always with smiles. If you want a FABULOUS team that can sincerely work hard to make your home the SPACE you love, you should/MUST call the Barrale Brothers. We will use them on all of our projects in the future, and will refer to friends, family and anyone that needs GREAT QUALITY service and work! They impressed us that much!!! Thank you John and Mario!!!Mar 21, 2015Verified
The Barrale Brothers were easy to work with, did a fantastic job building our new deck and it was exactly (even better!) than we expected. They were very competitive with their estimate, it was within a few percent of the other quotes we got, and for the money we spent we have a big, beautiful new deck! Due to booking them late in the season, we had to wait awhile for them to become available, but it was worth the wait. I would highly recommend them, and we will certainly not hesitate to use them again in the future for other projects!Oct 6, 2016Verified
We were told that sanding was included but didn’t see any sanding, we were told a board would be fixed and sanded down and that didn’t happen. When he power washed our desk dirt and deck power-wash waste was sprayed all over our siding and left to dry against the house so now I need to get my house washed. I feel like our job was rushed on a windy day because he said that was the second deck he painted that day and he tried to protect siding with plastic but paint/stain was flicked in spots all over our new siding. He also oversprayed on our concrete step and post foundations and that looks really tacky. He also missed allot of spots on deck and in some areas got very low coverage where you can still see wood through the stain. We had to ask and complain that the spots and overspray be removed from the siding and and ask for him to paint the missed spots on the deck. On his return trip he did paint most of the missed spots but didn’t spray where the light coverage occurred and you can see through the stain. He didn’t remove all the overspray on our siding so now I’m going to have to research chemicals and scrub parts of our house. Now I’m going to have buy some paint/stain and cover areas that are so light coverage paint/stain other small missed spots. Honestly I paid $1,500 and feel like why didn’t I do this myself because now I’m going to have to get on a ladder and try doing all of this with a right bum arm.Aug 5, 2018Verified
We would work with John's painting company again. He was knowledgeable and a good listener. He helped us through the project with comfort and ease. His experience in his profession shows.Sep 29, 2018Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First off is to be honest and respectful. I hear what they want and I give them my suggestions as a professional on different ideas that may even save them some money. We work side by side with the owner and keep them posted on whats going on. At the end from hiring us as their contractor we end up being friends and they know for a fact that we are the ones that they can trust for future projects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have several years of training in Italy, with masters of custom finishes, where we have learned the proper technique, that is a privilege to have.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Over the past 15 plus years in business I've had the honer to work for athletes, TV personal and all walks of life people. Have been called to do work in out of state, numerous times for clients that move away and are loyal to us, and don't want anyone else. That's an honor.
