We just bought an older home in Cedar Hill, MO and needed much updating. We had no idea where to start. Then, we found John and Mario! The Barrale Brothers are the ones to hire for ANY job as they can do it all! We called them with the intent to just to do floors. BUT, after meeting with them about the project and seeing the kitchen/dining room, they were able to take ideas we had and give us ideas on what could be done and merge them altogether PLUS some! It became a team effort designing the space and they made the vision come ALIVE with their expertise, quality and utmost professionalism. They were always on time, even in rain, snow, mud and hills. :) Everything they do is professional and always with smiles. If you want a FABULOUS team that can sincerely work hard to make your home the SPACE you love, you should/MUST call the Barrale Brothers. We will use them on all of our projects in the future, and will refer to friends, family and anyone that needs GREAT QUALITY service and work! They impressed us that much!!! We needed someone to stain our deck and to seal our concrete driveway. The Barrale Brothers gave us a reasonable quote and we accepted. We are so glad that we did. It was the best experience we have had with contractors. They were attentive to our requests and gave us information that kept us up to date on all activities required to get the job done. We were more than pleased. The only part that we didn’t like was that the previous contractor had mislead us about the post cover caps on the deck. When the Barrale Brothers worked on them, they were not able to return them to their previous luster. This is directly due to the misleading information given to us by the previous contractor. But Barrale Brothers stepped in and got us information that not only assisted in replacing those post cover caps BUT allowed us to upgrade to solar lighting on those caps! We were over the moon happy with how they looked. They have an excellent attention to detail and are highly knowledgeable as demonstrated by the post cover situation. My family would recommend them without hesitation and we will definitely use them again in the future!

The Board of Directors of the Stone Bridge Villas Condominium Association in OâFallon, IL, contracted with the Barrale Brothers to paint the exterior siding, trim, doors & shutters, and garage doors on 16 residential units and the Association Clubhouse, a total of 7 buildings. Painting started on May 1, 2015, was finished on July 3, 2015, and was frequently interrupted by rain during the wettest period (May-June 2015) in OâFallon history. The most impressive part of this job was the skill with which the Barrale Brothers applied a single, thick coat of paint to our units with no drips, no runs, no sags, and no slop-overs on adjacent items. The Barrale Brothers even removed (and replaced) shutters and downspouts to ensure a complete and uniform coat of paint on our units. Throughout the entire process, the Barrale Brothers were prompt, punctual, courteous, and enthusiastic. They made sure that our residents were not inconvenienced when front and garage doors were painted. Several of our residents specifically commented about the terrific job that our painting contractors were doing. The Board of Directors fully concurs with that assessment and eagerly anticipates their return next summer when we will paint another six buildings.

John and his brother did several jobs for us. From a whole-house power wash to painting the small amount of paintable trim to reconditioning a well weathered treated wood deck surface, replacing some lattice trim and resurfacing a slick concrete front porch. John responded promptly (first) to our initial contact through Thumbtack(for the house wash). His bids were very reasonable and we soon expanded the scope of our work to include several other small jobs. All the work was done promptly, neatly and professionally. We look forward to using the Barrale brothers again.

John installed a new stair railing system. The job was challenging with a tight time frame and John worked hard to give me the staircase I was dreaming of. I am very pleased. The new railing system gives my entry and family room a WOW! factor. I would highly recommend John.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First off is to be honest and respectful. I hear what they want and I give them my suggestions as a professional on different ideas that may even save them some money. We work side by side with the owner and keep them posted on whats going on. At the end from hiring us as their contractor we end up being friends and they know for a fact that we are the ones that they can trust for future projects.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have several years of training in Italy, with masters of custom finishes, where we have learned the proper technique, that is a privilege to have.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Over the past 15 plus years in business I've had the honer to work for athletes, TV personal and all walks of life people. Have been called to do work in out of state, numerous times for clients that move away and are loyal to us, and don't want anyone else. That's an honor.
