Building your first dance can be easy! Learn how to connect with your partner & feel confident on your wedding day with fun and simple moves taught by a friendly instructor who cares. My name is Nicole and I am the owner and founder of Wedding Dance Central. I am a seasoned wedding dance professional and love working with couples to co-create bespoke first dances that beautifully encapsulates their love for each other. My teaching style is supportive and non-intimidating and especially geared towards beginners with little to no dance experience. Lessons are taught in-home so that clients can feel as comfortable as possible and won't have to take time out of their busy schedules to travel. Each first dance is unique and tailored to the personality, needs and vision of the couple (all of which will be discussed together during a free phone consultation before lessons begin). Working with Nicole was truly one of our favorite parts of planning our wedding!! I enjoyed working with Nicole. She is fun, energetic, knowledgeable, and has an infectious positive attitude. I had a black tie event for work and knew there would be some classic dances involved. I am not a great dancer and have always wanted to learn the waltz, tango, salsa and some contemporary. She listened to my desires and my fears and came up with an organized plan to learn each dance in a relatively short amount of time. I did 8 lessons and she worked well with my tight schedule. The event went well. I was able to get on the dance floor with confidence and even had some compliments. I am actually looking forward to the next time I get to showcase my moves. I will definitely go back. Much gratitude to Nicole.

I offer very competitive pricing in the industry and savings per lesson if you choose a wedding lesson package!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do an introductory session talk meet the couples and collaborate choreography ideas together as we map out together how they want their dance to look and feel like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 16 years of experience in Latin social dancing (salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia) and 3 years of Ballroom dancing (waltz, foxtrot, tango, rumba), swing (east coast and west coast styles) and country dancing (two-step and country swing). I have taught social clients in these styles and choreographed over 200 wedding related dances (including first dances, father-daughter and mother-son dances).
