I came to Mr. Kirkbride with a couple of problems. The first was that my power button worked about as often as it didn't, and the second was that one of the hinges on my laptop broke. The first problem was fixed almost immediately. The second took a bit longer because of the parts that needed to be ordered. Shawn gave me the choice between a fast order and a cheap one, which I was extremely grateful for, being a bit of a broke college student. When the parts arrived, Shawn immediately informed me and allowed me to choose a time to bring my laptop back to him to finish the job. I arrived the following Monday and Shawn worked quickly and efficiently. He explained what he was doing while he did it, and he explained work-arounds when something was giving him more trouble than expected. He went above and beyond when helping me with my problems, and he even had a fantastic sense of humor that made the whole experience much more pleasant. I would highly recommend Shawn Kirkbride to anyone suffering with computer issues. (Or at least hardware issues.)

The job was I had hoped a repair on my system. Unfortunately there was gunk in it and the hard drive itself was a piece of shit so regretfully I just gave up on the system. Next time I'll get a good system. I'm going to give this company a test when I do have money in that I'm going to ask them to build a PC system for me. But that's not any time soon. Thanks for the great information and keep up the fantastic work!

I love this place! Shawn bent over backwards many times to give me outstanding service.
These guys know their stuff and they're friendly, efficient, and reliable. We recently moved to the Springfield area and there isn't a real Apple store here, so we were worried that I can't go to the apple store anymore. When I first researched Mac specialists, I called around and ended up talking to Shawn here who answered my dumb questions for almost 20 minutes. I had dropped my Macbook Pro during the move and shattered the screen and messed up the keyboard. Every place I called wanted to charge me over $500 for the screen replacement alone. Shawn saved me over $250!!! Customer service rocks and my Macbook came back good as new. It's hard to find someone you trust your $2000 machine with... I will be telling everyone I know to come here. I would HIGHLY recommend Shawn Michael to anyone! These guys can fix anything, diagnose anything. Outstanding service, fast and excellent communication.

Had wifi issues with my daughters computer and Shawn made it very easy for me to meet up to drop off the computer. Shawn explained a few things he was checking out and got the problem figured out within the first thirty minutes! Shawn provided me with a few options as to repair the problem. His rates are very reasonable and I am pleased to have had him be able to work on my daughters computer. I will most gladly do repeat business with him if I'm having anymore computer problems!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do our best to provide general estimates, but we have to actually put our hands on a computer to provide a clear cut actual estimate. There are so many things that need to be verified by a proper technician before we can give a solid cost for repairs. Which is why general estimates are free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Several certifications, 25 years of hardware diagnostics, repair and custom system design experience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The jobs I do most frequently are Virus and Spyware removal, data recovery, data transfer, custom system builds, I have also performed thousands of Operating System installs and System refreshes.
