FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My interest in photography began when I was stationed in the Great Britain with the U.S. Air Force. I turned professional as an apprentice with a photographer who was nationally known for his high school senior photography. That lead to an internship with a celebrity photographer, who was also President Ronald ReaganÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs Inaugural photographer. Before starting my own studio I spent 5 years as a photography instructor for a national portrait studio chain.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
These days everyone with a digital camera seems to think they are a photographer. So be sure to check out your photographer to be sure they aren't a "fauxtographer". Every year we hear horror stories about experiences that people have had where they thought they could save money and use someone's friend who is a "fauxtographer". It frequently ends up being a waste of their time and money. So be sure to choose a professional photographer!
