FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent, fair, and based on the scope and complexity of each project. I charge a flat $85 fee for estimates to cover time and travel; however, this fee is waived if you hire me. I take pride in offering clear, upfront quotes with no hidden costs. While I never cut corners, I offer competitive rates and occasional discounts for veterans, seniors, and repeat customers. Every project is customized to your needs, and all materials and additional requests will be clearly outlined in your estimate—honest craftsmanship, every time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start every project with a conversation—getting to know your vision, needs, and budget. Once we (the client and I) understand the scope, I’ll schedule a site visit to take measurements and assess any details that might affect the work. After the visit, I’ll provide a detailed estimate (for a flat $85 fee, which is waived if hired). Once approved, we’ll set a timeline, discuss materials and finishes, and keep you updated every step of the way. Communication and quality are at the heart of my process, and I am committed to ensuring you feel confident and cared for from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in carpentry and framing, I’ve built a strong foundation of knowledge through real-world work on residential projects. My training comes from years of learning on the job, collaborating with skilled tradespeople, and staying current with industry standards and building codes. From rough framing to detailed finish work, I bring a deep understanding of construction methods and a commitment to quality that only comes from decades in the field.
