Ryan Frazier's REF CONSTRUCTION was a blessing to me when my washing machine broke, and flooded my whole home. Although he was on another job, he recognized the urgency of my situation and came straight to help me manage my crisis so I could save my furniture, hardwood floors and sanity! Honoring his previous commitment/job, he was only here that first visit for about 40 minutes. And those 40 minutes saved probably my entire dining room/living room & pantry floors, sheetrock, and wall molding--as well as the furniture. He even came back later that night --after 7 hours on his former commitment and brought fans and did about two more hours work despite having already helped me in the morning and do a whole 8 plus hours on the other job. I was so grateful for his professionalism and his expert help I even wrote a thank you note to his other client whom had generously approved of Ryan's 40 minute hiatus from her job. These things matter. I can't share how many times I have been ripped off by other help I have secured for various jobs from painting, fence repair and other carpentry/repair needs. I am so grateful this was an entirely different experience. I've referred him to several of my friends and they say the same thing: WOW! Ryan Frazier and REF CONSTRUCTION is a cut above the rest. And, it's true-- not just flowery words. It is so rare to find someone --especially because I am a woman and most all others have assumed I was ignorant and tried to charge me three times as much and provided shoddy work. Ryan is now whitewashing the floor in my living room-- something I have always wanted to do but never found anyone I trusted, and also texturizing my ceilings in three rooms, painting the main room in my home and after that will begin the remodel on my kitchen-- and all his prices have been so reasonable and of high quality. I will post again after he finishes some of the work he's doing now-- just to be sure. I just can't imagine it won't be, but I appreciate the honesty of others so that is all I will offer. Oh, I forgot, he even brought my new washer and dryer to my house for a fraction of what I would have been charged, and saving 150 dollars is an awesome thing. Big or small-- he has done a great job on everything. Given his long military/police background, I have left him in my home while I am at work without any hesitation. My dogs trust him too, and he is awesome with them too, so I guess I get some free dog care while he works to redo my house! Can't beat that! I highly recommend!

It is not extremely complicated, but is based on a tier system. The fees range from my company completing the entire project, to offering help along the way, to tool rental, to consultation only.

I constantly network with other contractors, suppliers, attend seminars, and research via the Internet.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love to build and create. This gives me an opportunity to take something broken or outdated and make it beautiful and functional again.
