I am a one man business and I do all the entertaining for all the different types of events. My background is in many different areas of the Arts and teaching which has led me to event entertainment and planning in a unique way. By being the one entertainer, I can offer combination packages that nobody else can do which in turn saves the customer money and time by only having to hire one person to do many different things for their event. For instance for a wedding, I can help with decorations, shoot video or sing and play guitar at the service and cocktail hour, DJ and host Karaoke for the reception and also entertain the kids with all kinds of games. I also offer many unique entertaining ideas like Mystery & Spy Parties, Movie and Music Video Making, and an interactive show for kids called Animal Party. I take pride in being accommodating and helpful to make your event about having fun and taking as much of the work load of planning it off of you. I like the idea of creating lasting memories for people. The movies and videos I have made for families have been watched over and over for many years. The kids especially will watch them with their friends and then they have become fun things to do to gather those same friends around to watch it when they are teens and then adults. Another thing that makes my day is also reflected in my 20+ years of teaching in schools - I like when kids learn. Whether I am showing them some new game or idea or if it is learning about animals and the world through the Animal Party show.

Eric Everett=life saver! We are so thankful for his contribution to our wedding! He is very professional and walks you through each step necessary to help keep guests entertained throughout the evening. His organization skills helped keep us calm and collected. Our guests loved him, and so did we! Eric took a great evening and made it better! I may be biased but you will not find anybody better ;) Eric is the best! I'm so thankful for everything he did for us! He helped me pick great songs and listened to all of our requests through the night with a level of energy that helped us keep the party going even as exhaustion crept in. He has a contagious personality! Hire him! You won't regret it!

Eric was amazing with the kids!! He entertained them the whole time and Gave us exactly what we asked for and more...when the party ended, my 8 year old said that it was the best party ever:)) All of her friends had a blast, Girls and boys... I am going to consider him for my 4 year old party as well!!

Working with Eric was a dream! We met a few weeks before the event and walked through each room and talked through the vision, then he went back through and took measurements. He stayed in touch with me along the way, checking in to see which fabrics I liked and so on. I felt very much a part of the creative process. The set up went smoothly and the night of the event...amazing! Everything came together exactly as I had envisioned. I could not have been more pleased. Eric was fun and professional and was able to work within my budget. I can't wait to work with hm again and again!

Habitat for Humanity held it's first statewide conference and Eric entertained us for our "Corn Hole and Karaoke" night and did a FANTASTIC job! He is skilled at reading the crowd and matching up the music to the audience. When the crowd started to thin down, instead of asking if he could start packing up, he kept right on going and stayed as entertaining for 5 as he did for 50! His attitude was up beat and he was fun to be with!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to call and talk with anyone you plan to hire. The more they can share ideas with you about how to best plan for your event, the more you will be reassured that they have the experience that will help you. Go to their websites to get a better idea of what they can do. There should be testimonials and plenty of details so you can really get to know their expertise. Do they offer something unique? Are they great with all ages and numbers of people? Above all, are they there to help you have a great time? I know that's all a YES from me!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It is very difficult to convey all that goes into creating a full time entertainment business. Because you are available to anyone's schedule 7 days a week, that comes at a huge cost. Add in equipment upkeep and preparation and communication time and the costs begin to be understood. It may seem like $100/hr is a lot to pay, but if you usually can only work on a Saturday since that is when everyone wants a party, then that weekly paycheck starts to look a lot smaller :)
