El was amazing to work with! I’ve recommended them to so many folks looking for a professional, trustworthy, skilled tradesperson to help with a variety of house projects, from framing/trim to electrical. I’m really grateful that they also took the time to show me what they were doing and how to do some of it myself (at my request, because i wanted to learn more!) Can’t wait to start my next project so I can work with them again.

El was really amazing to work with. She came in to fix a crappy job that a previous worker left unfinished. She kept me in budget and was really smart with work shopping the problem. I was really disappointed with my previous job - the guy was over budget and just didn’t respond when I said the door was hanging improperly so it wouldn’t lock (the whole point of getting a door installed).
Would happily use Handy Human again!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly is $75 a hour. This rate does not cover the cost of materials. Depending on the job type I also sometimes will price things out as total cost/per sq. ft/linear foot/per job instead of hourly.
I do have a minimum service call fee and that is $100.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to ascertain what your goals are. Ask questions about what exactly you envision, or need. Send an estimate (which may differ from the actual invoice because of unforeseen factors). And get you scheduled as soon as HHS can.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a WV journeyman electrician's license for almost 10 years. I have an A.S in electromechanical tech with a green energy minor.
I was an electrician and general tradesperson in the Army for 7 years. Learned how to do carpentry, concrete, electrical, plumbing, and other handy skills.
