From manuscript to printed book, all is done in-house, by me: I can help with your illustrations, book cover design, layout, editing and finding the right printer/distributor.
With over 20 years of experience as an Illustrator/Designer, I can offer a wide range of creative solutions. I've illustrated over 60 children's books, designed over 500 book covers, and have worked on all kinds of creative projects for print and web, for companies and independent publishers.
I love the process of visual storytelling and creative collaborations with new and established authors. I take it upon myself to make the whole process as enjoyable and simple as possible.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary for each project, these are the started points, to give you an idea. I provide bundled prices for projects that involve multiple services or lots of illustrations.
Average prices:
$200 per children's book illustration (full page, color illustration)
$450 for illustrated/designed book cover
$450 for interior book layout
$450 for logo
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Trust and clear communication are essential parts of my creative process. There are typically three steps: storyboard/rough draft, pencil drawing, color phase. I consult with the client after each step to make sure you are happy with the results and edits can be made as the project moves forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught for the most part, from on-the-job training. I can send relevant samples and references, as needed.
I have illustrated over 60 children's books, including full book design on many of them (layout, book cover, quality control for print). I am an expert in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
