After 20 years behind the camera, I still genuinely love photographing people. I focus on lifestyle photography and documenting real, unscripted moments that feel like you. My style is natural and effortless, with plenty of laughter and, when helpful, a bit of gentle posing to help you look your best. I use some prompts to get pictures of real smiles, and hope my couples like to have fun together.
I specialize in wedding and event photography, but I also offer engagement and proposals (and occasionally family portraits) for those who love being outside in the Blueridge Mountains. Clients describe my work as creative and fun, inspired by the people and locations I’m working with.
My work is hand-edited (lightly) and between 250-350 per hour, depending on type of work.

Lacey was incredible! We booked her last minute due to weather and the need to change our date. She met us at craggy for our engagement shoot. It was cold and windy, but she took amazing photos. She is very personable and accommodating. This was our first photo shoot and she was patient with us, walking us through all the poses She provided us our photos in a timely manor. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To avoid confusion, I am including digital downloads with all bookings moving forward. I do not offer RAW files; your images will be basic edits to include color and exposure correction ready to print.
Add- ons you may need or want beyond that include extra time, extended location, second photographer for weddings, video, drone, digital files, albums, slideshows and more.
Custom editing is available as well, please included on a per image, post session and presentation basis. Thanks!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet in person, but talking on the phone works, too. It is vital to make sure you have a good rapport with your photographer before booking, especially for weddings. After all, we will spend some of the most important time in your life together! A booking occurs only when you pay a retainer and sign a contract. Then I will remove your time from my availability calendar. Until then, my time remains open for other inquiries and it is first come first served. Thank you for understanding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for photography in Spokane, WA, and have been a photographer for over 15 years.
