Introduction

I give private cooking lessons in the comfort of your own home, fit to your diatry needs. I feel one-on-one teaching is very effective, I'll be able to guide you and answer any question you have. We can start out easy and progress to more advanced cooking techniques. I enjoy helping people learn how easy and fun cooking really is and, to show them by making some simple adjustments to your diet you can improve your health. Cooking for me opens up my creativity and I love food so it all works!

Michelle came over, she helped my 13yr old cook 2 dishes and 2 desserts. She gave her valuable feedback on certain things while they were cooking. My daughter was VERY excited after she got done. Talking about it the rest of the evening!! I was pleased with my daughters response to cooking, and thank you to Michelle for helping to find something that she seems even more interested in after the class!!! My daughter LOVED it and that is what mattered to me!!!!

We hired Chef Michele to teach my family on how to eat and cook healthier. She was very patient and helpful with two teenagers. We all had an enjoyable time and learned a bunch. Food was delicious. Who knew we could make something like this by ourselves. Will have her out again.

Such an amazing chef! Desserts, soups, entrées, you name it they are delicious. Best turkey chili I've ever tasted. I could eat it everyday. Yummy chicken tikki masala, hearty and flavorful potato soup, she couldn't make a dry chicken breast if she tried....not to mention desserts that would make anyone's sweet tooth dance! Must try her vegan chocolate cake, you'll never want another cake, promise. Overall...great chef, highly recommended.

No, the number of people and the type of service usually varies so each client will have a different rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For cooking lessons: I like to get a idea of how experienced they are with cooking, what types of food they are interested in making, and any suggestions of what they would like to learn and make. I also have a large menu prepared that they can choose from. Personal chef: I have a menu they can choose from and they can request anything as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu and have cooked professionally for about 12 years. I have cooked in different types of resturaunts from fine dining to good old home cooking! I also have a a BS degree where I studied biology, nutrition and health and fitness.
