FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quoted price is all-in: labor, haul, and dump. No trip fee inside my service area and no surprise add-ons after you approve the number. Minimum residential job is $120. Mattresses, tires, paint, gasoline, and extra-heavy pieces may have a listed add-on — I’ll say that in the quote before we load anything. Send 3-4 photos and I’ll send one number. For large jobs, let's set up a free in-person quote. I don’t lock a firm price off a vague description.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Text photos → I send an all-in quote → we pick a window (same-day or next-day when I have one) → I show up, load it, haul it, leave the space clear. You get a confirmation and I text when I’m on the way. Pay when the job is done — card, cash, or invoice. If the pile grew after the quote, tell me before I start and I’ll adjust the number in the driveway, not after.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This is hands-on work, not a classroom trade. I run The 919 Hauler locally, I’m insured, I know what Wake County will and won’t take at the dump, and I know when something needs a dump trailer instead of the truck. I recycle or donate when I can and landfill last.
