James was amazing! I can write a story of how he single handily SAVED MY WEDDING! I’m active duty military (me and my wife) and James did so much for us! He drove hours to ensure we had the proper documentation to service alcohol at the venue! He was always commutative! He work with me always asking for me and my wife needs and he worked with my budget to insure we had all we needed and i stayed within my amount I wanted to pay! And he was very flexible when it came to the huddles the venue owner threw our way! He was always ON POINT! Never made excuses just made it happen! And this is all before the wedding!
Now the wedding he was very very professional and organized. We had two specialty drinks (margaritas and old fashions) he made a blue berry and strawberry margarita! A MUST AT ANY EVENT! Also an amazing orange old fashion! All his mixers are had made! No store brought! He just takes pride in his career and craft and it clearly shows through his drinks. He handled at crowd of over 100 people by myself and got all the drinks out with no long wait! This man is worth the price of admission!
Overall James I thank you for everything! And you made me and my wife day so special without your service I can’t say it would have turn out the same!

This review is lengthy but accurate. I can’t say enough about the Pour House. I hired James to bartend my wedding reception and cocktail hour. From the beginning it felt like I was working with a project manager. He guided me along the way with what and how much to buy. I had looked online for bar shopping lists for a party of 100. The results were varied say the least. With his suggestions I had the perfect blend of liquors, beer, wine, champagne, soda, and mixers. When the wedding came, James was very professional in presentation and demeanor. Whenever someone asked for something original or unusual, he explained how he was mixing different types of bitters, mixers, etc to cut the sourness or match with the sweetness, etc. It was like watching a craftsman doing his best work. Everyone was impressed and many people simply hung around the bartender because he was very engaging and easy to talk with. The Pour House was better than I could ever imagine. James was a phenomenal bartender. He impressed all so much that a few people were inquiring about having him tend their upcoming parties. I’m also hoping to book him for my 50th birthday this fall.
As good as that was, it’s not all. My DJ backed out of the wedding 2 days prior. I contacted James to see if he had worked with any good DJs in the past. Within 1.5 hours he hit me back and said, “I got you a DJ!”. I was floored. I was thinking the party would be half boring, but he saved the day. It was a feat to get a DJ ready in 1.5 days, but the DJ, DJ JRoxx came through with flying colors. (I’ll also put in a rave review for him). They had worked together many times before and it showed. They coordinated well on where to set up and helped each other. I could not have hoped for a better team on short notice to pull off an awesome reception. My deepest thanks goes out to James and Pour House. (And DJ JRoxx). I highly recommend them…
