It was a pleasure to work with Cloves and Lace however, there were a few issues. During planning the lead designer was very responsive, professional and helpful. I really appreciated her attention to detail and ability to work within budget for my micro baby shower (25 ppl). However, when hiring my waitstaff for the event I was led to believe that there would be 2 wait staffers in addition to her, who would be serving and manning the bar. Day of the event she arrived 1.5 hours late and with only one additional person. Due to a late arrival and lack of personnel the set up was rushed, some details that we had previously discussed were not accounted for and the service during dinner was inefficient. Overall, I'd recommend that you work with her as she is extremely helpful, pleasant and capable of getting the job done. Outside of the late arrival, I'd just recommend that you clarify all the details and expand the budget if need be to have the proper number of staff members for a smooth event.
