I contacted IRV plumbing and electric and spoke to Robert because I was having problems with a clogged toilet. My nephews threw something in it. Leon and Sidney at IRV plumbing and electric came out and did an excellent job. They were knowledgeable and kept me informed the entire time. They had to replace the toilet and got me an affordable toilet. I dont have to spend hours plungering. Thank God. Wonderful job to both Leon and Sidney at IRV plumbing and electric. Thanks Robert.

I needed an estimate for an electrical job that I assumed (based on my research) would be less than $500. The quote the electrician gave was almost $2700 and he seemed very perplexed by what the job required. I got a second estimate from another company. This one was for $300. When I called the office to express concern over this discrepancy, the representative I spoke to seemed unconcerned and not surprised. I asked if I could get more information on why the electrician quoted what he did, but I was not given the opportunity to talk to him. I was told that I should have asked more questions the day he gave the estimate.

Hi Katie! Thank you for your review. We are licensed company and we will not compete with a Handyman or unlicensed contractors. We proposed to install bare copper wire from electrical main panel to the manifold in the attic. But having a 2 guys for a day running wire in walls and attic. Pulling permit and inspection adding materials cost us more than $500. We take seriously our job by giving upfront pricing and make sure our work will meet code requirements. I understand for a Realtor it is important not to loose a sale. But also it is important for us to what is right because we are liable for our work as a licensed company. Not sure since you found a someone to do it for $300 why we received calls from the Selling agent ,buying agent and the seller itself. And on top of that we even did not charged you a service fee. It will be nice if the one star review is based on performed work not based on a research.

We work with upfront flat rate pricing. Which means that ones we evaluate we will be able to give a written proposal.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will send a picture of the technician coming to the customer property. Our techs are wearing shoe covers and we pull background for all technicians working in the company.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every Wednesday we conduct safety and technical meeting. We train our technicians is Safety, Customer service and technical skills.
