FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the complexity of the project and factors that some may not realize. I offer free estimates before starting a project. Some require permits which an estimate would be needed to get the cost of the permit. A service call is different, most require troubleshooting and can be difficult to give an estimate in some cases. I offer a first hour rate of 125 and a rate of 100 for the following hours. tax and material is added after.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do my best to walk them through how I process each job from a simple outlet addition to a whole home rewire. I try to give them multiple options to fit their budget, produce craftsman quality work, and adhere to national electric codes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from a technical vocational high school majoring in Electrical. Completed Connecticut's apprenticeship program with 8000 hours as a registered apprentice. Completed 4000 hours as a Journeyman electrician. Passed Connecticut, South Carolina, and North Carolina Electrical contractors tests.
