I had scheduled this photographer to capture my daughter's prom experience. At the last minute, I was informed that he had a prior engagement but could refer me to a colleague. I was then advised that the colleague would charge an additional $100. With my daughter's junior prom approaching, I reluctantly agreed to the additional fee However, dealing with this colleague has been exceptionally challenging. She has attempted to withhold my daughter's photographs, demanding further payment for minor adjustments, despite having already received $250 from me. Initially, she stated that if I did not pay an additional $100, I would have to wait two to three weeks to receive the pictures. Upon finally receiving them, only 40 were provided. When I inquired about the remaining photographs, her response was, "I can only give you what I sent." This is concerning, as I paid for a comprehensive set of images, and I believe I should have the right to choose which ones are shared. There were other pictures I desired. Therefore, I strongly advise against allowing this photographer to refer any other individuals, as it may lead to a similarly negative experience. I contacted Jay to inform him of my experience with the referred photographer, and his response indicated a lack of concern. Consequently, I am writing this to caution anyone considering let this photographer refer any one or use at your own discretion or any associated individuals to exercise extreme prudence. A successful business aims to cultivate repeat customers, not to engage in price gouging tactics.
