FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The system should give a good idea of how much a photo shoot would cost for a certain number of hours, but if you have any questions, please reach out to me, and I'll send you a quote!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I bought my first digital camera in 2001 before studying abroad for the first time. After well over a decade and tens of thousands of shots, I decided that I had the passion and skills to turn my hobby into a career.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1) Make sure that the price for the photographer does not only include the shoot itself, but also includes ALL edited / finished photos taken during the event. 2) Make sure that you have eternal permission to copy and share the photos in any way you wish. Do NOT do business with any photographer who makes you pay each time you print or share photos! 3) Remember that while the most well-known brands often sell for the highest prices, that doesn't mean that more affordable alternatives are bad. For example, you can buy a watch for $10,000, but that does not mean that it is 10 times as good as a watch selling for $1,000. In fact, you may even mistake one for another. Rather than quality, extremely high prices are often based on "exclusivity" and "celebrity-worship". On the other hand, dirt-cheap prices can also mean a lack of quality. A $10 watch will likely not perform nearly as well as a $100 or $1,000 watch, and may soon break. I feel that my prices are fair and the quality is right in the sweet spot.
