FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This trade was taught to me at the age of 13 by my stepfather who owned J.S. Drywall Co.in the 1980's, My brother and I were required to work every weekend, each summer and every break from school....we started by spotting nails, fire tapping, taping closets and bathrooms for a few years. Then we progressed to finishing open areas; complete duplexes, apartments and eventually commercial structures. This was a skill to always "fallback" on, over the years I applied the skill strictly on a voluntary basis after disasters in addition to working of dozens of commercial buildings designed as places of worship. After successfully leading several fortune 500 companies for many years and most recently after relocating to Charlotte, NC I noticed very poor workmanship, overheard complaints by property managers of unscrupulous service providers... I chose to offer my services and maintain a small manageable operation.
- What types of customers have you worked with?

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1. Don't make your decision solely on price, you get what you pay for and many times the lowest pricing results in the greatest headache. 2. If the owner of the drywall company is not involved proceed with caution ask for his personal contact number(s). 3.NEVER PAY UPFRONT LABOR COSTS - Service providers may charge an upfront fee to obtain a few supplies but never should he ask for monies upfront for labor.
