Cornel and Starwood Flooring did an excellent job adding hardwood flooring and refinishing some existing hardwood. They did the project in a tight time frame - right before move-in, so we moved into the home with beautiful new floors. Worked out great and very happy with the finished project!

We are a couple of days into the process of refinishing our 100 y.o. hardwood floors and Cornell and his team has been great to work with. He gave me a quote, and a few days later they were hard at work on our floors. They actually showed up on time, which is a rare thing these days. They have been great to work with, and even worked with us through a few changes along the way. So far, I highly recommend them to everyone. I'll update later with pics. Looking forward to the finished product!

I requested for a hardwood floor refinishing. I accepted Cornel's work for a fair price. His men did a good job. However, the floor in one room has one dark shade section and one light shade section that they should see it before applying the poly. The floor in another room was left with worn parts adhered from the broom. I have a dumpster on site. But the men like to leave trashes on the outside ground. I have to tell them throwing them into the dumpster. After eating or drinking, they just throw trashes out of their car's windows. I hate to tell those contractors what they should do and what they shouldn't do.

The refinishing of 70 year old hardwood flooring that had seen better days, came out gorgeous! Cornel was very accommodating when some rough surfaces were noticed in the polly and took care of them without question. The only complaint would be that a simple plastic tarp on two doorways would have significantly reduced the amount of dust left behind. Speaking of dust left behind, in the corners and doorways that were sanded and not vacuumed up, became part of the permanent finish that I fondly refer to as "rat droppings." A little extra care while applying topcoat would have earned this job 5+stars

Cornell and his team did a great job on our old hardwood floors. The pricing was excellent, much less than several other bids we got. He was easy to communicate with and he and his team showed up and completed the work as scheduled. I would recommend Starwood Flooring and would not hesitate to use them again.

We charge per sq ft . We accept : cash , checks and credit cards . Also for Cash we offer some discounts Discount for jobs over 1000 sq ft For paying with credit card will be a 4% fee
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step , is to set up a day for us to stop by to see the project, measure the floor and offer a free estimate . Second step , if the client agrees with the price and wants hire us , we decide together the date to start .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education : management degree , but also training working before for the top flooring company
