Michael Grant (KA’Zen) – Artist Bio Michael Grant, professionally known as KA’Zen, is a visionary multidisciplinary artist and the founder of Japofuturism, a genre-defining movement that bridges Japanese aesthetics with African cultural wisdom to reimagine the future through bold, anime-inspired, and Afro-futuristic visuals. His work creates immersive worlds that awaken nostalgia, inspire innovation, and empower communities through storytelling and design. I have collaborated with national and local brands such as Urban Outfitters, Lowe’s, North Carolina Football Club, and NC Courage, and have been an artist at the Charlotte Shout Festival (2024).
