I have two small children and just moved across the country. I had no idea how I was going to unpack and set up a new house. Tonya and the rest of Judy on the Spot came in and took over. They unpacked and helped me organize everything so that I could care for my children. And they did a way better than I ever could have done! I am so grateful and am already thinking of new projects for Judy on the Spot. Also, a Judy is a great gift idea instead of giving people more junk to organize.

Tonya and her team are truly amazing. Not only did I moved from California to MD, but we downsized from a 3 bedroom townhouse to an apartment! I was literally up to my ears in boxes! Luckily enough I found Judy on the Spot through the thumbtack app. From the evaluation to the final staging, I was met with nothing more than professional courtesy and care. Its easy to feel judged and/or vulnerable when letting outsiders in during situations like this. However, I never felt out of place or embarrassed. Tonya and the team helped me transition I to my new space with ease and less stress. I am very happy I gave them a call!

Everyone knows that cleaning organizing can be overwhelming, and emotionally draining. This has always been the case for me, and when I recently moved, my husband and I decided to use the second bedroom to store all of our stuff we did not have a place for yet. In just a few hours, Tonya took my crazy storage room full of suitcases, boxes, and random bags and turned it into an amazing organized-looking office room! She came in and gave me a quote, then once I scheduled she bought everything I needed, including a handyman to put it together. I have hired organizers before, but she is the Best! It was truly a miracle what she did with my space. Dont hesitate to hire her!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We estimate based on the number of man hours required. We offer multiple services, but every service has the same rate. Therefore, some of our clients purchase a block of hours and use the hours on all the different services they need. However, our recurring customers purchase memberships and we set up recurring services for them. Members get a 15% off all service rates but, have a minimum 6 month commitment.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We follow a consistent method: 1. We find out the scope of the project or tasks by talking to the customer to get first hand information. 2. We assign everyone A "Judy", to be the person accountable and ensure that things get done the way they want it. 3. Your Judy will then match the requirements with the most qualified team member. 4. Your Judy will schedule the job. 5. Validate that the job was completed according to the specifics, and 6. Ask for feedback from the customer about how we could do better. 7. We incorporate that feedback into our internal processes and communicate to the teams.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have an MBA in Business and Technology. I've spent 25 years planning, organizing, and solving problems for large and small efforts. The teams I manage have an average 5 to 15 years experience in their specific fields.
