- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
typically a headshot session would be $150.00 for the edited digital files and family, couple,maternity, newborn, family and senior sessions would be $300 and includes a $250 credit towards prints or digital images.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat with them about their goal for the session first. We'll discuss locations and what they want out of their final images. Will they be used for a company website, making albums or creating wall displays etc? Then we'll meet for the session and take our time to get everything we need. I do not want parents to stress at all about their kids. They are in great hands. I'll get those gorgeous natural smiles by playing with them and making a connection. After the session I'll hand edit everything and upload to my online proofing site for ordering.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done a ton of workshops and online classes but the bulk of my training has come from mentoring under other photographers in my early years starting out. I have helped run a couple local high volume studios over the last few years before starting my own business.
