Mr. Jones delivers solidly in every respect. 1. Expertise. He's knowledgeable about his craft. He identified the problems with my mower, corrected them, and performed the additional routine maintenance I requested. Yesterday, I operated my mower for the first time after Mr. Jones repaired it, and, yes, it's a cliche to state that "it runs like it was new"---but the fact is, it did. 2. TImeliness. The time from when Mr. Jones picked up my machine until the time he returned it to me was five days. I defy any franchised mower-repair business to routinely have a faster turn-around time than that. 3. Cost. The repair charges, plus the fee for picking up and delivery, were incredibly economical. 4. Professional ethic. Impeccable. My wife gave me a chuckle after Mr. Jones came to my house in his personal vehicle, picked up my lawn mower, and departed. She said, "You realise that you just gave our lawn mower to a man you never met before, who then put it in his own car and drove away with it." The fact of the matter was that was never a concern. Mr. Jones kept me informed constantly throughout his work, advising me of when he would arrive, what he found wrong with the machine, what he did to fix it, what the charges would be, and when he would bring it back---and completely delivered in everything he said. He is professional and trustworthy. 5. Personable. Now, if a service provider is top-notch in the first four areas above, then how nice a guy he is really doesn't matter. But Mr. Jones is also pleasant and cordial. I'm not a fellow who readily takes to people, but it was, personally, a pleasure to meet him. To anyone who needs repair of his lawn mower, or anything else that falls under Mr. Jones's repair skills, I recommend him most strongly.

Bruce was very responsive and made the appointment to come to my house within 24 hours of me reaching out. He quickly made the repair and charged a much more competitive price than what I was quoted by someone else. Will definitely contact Bruce again when repairs/service is needed and will absolutely recommend him.

Chris did a wonderful job welding the front and rear deck frame of my aluminum jon boat. I pretty much asked him to pull off a miracle and weld a gap between the frame and the weld only to be delighted with the outcome of his service. Great job and great service..Would not hesitate to hire him again for any future projects.

Chris did some custom welding and cutting of galvanized steel pipe for me. I submitted my Thumbtack request on Friday afternoon and Chris had completed the job by Saturday morning. He arrived on time and went straight to work. He is professional and polite. I highly recommend.

When we couldn’t find front porch railings we liked at the big box stores, we turned to Thumbtack. We had a really clear vision of what we wanted. Something simple and classic, easy to clean and a wide top to put things on while juggling for keys. Of all of the estimates we got, Jorge and his father were the only ones to talk about perspective and what would look best from a distance and close up. We talked about how they would be welded together and attached. They noticed a potential problem with the alignment because of the way our porch was built but quickly came up with a couple of possible solutions. They had the materials and finished we wanted. No one else came up with the whole package for the right price. They are truly artists who take pride in their work. I highly recommend them!

Thank you again J&P Metal Arts! We installed 3 handrails in front of our commercial property and they look great. Professional staff, kept property orderly while installing and we valued your feedback during the project. Your suggestions were great and the handrails look amazing, thank you again!

Marcus done an outstanding job on My project. I had a dishwasher sink, that was to long. Marcus had to cut it in 2 different places, plus the legs of it & replace 1 piece for the sink to fit my diswasher. Marcus traveled to Charlotte NC, from SC & was very professional. I highly recommend Marcus for all your welding needs.

I can't say enough good things about the job that Rick did for me. I have an antique umbrella stand that I use for my collection of canes. The metal bottom was in bad shape and kept falling out. I was hoping that Rick could weld it together, but he came up with an even better solution. He made a metal support that goes under the bottom, is completely hidden, and provides great support for the canes. He made the support in a couple of days and mailed it to me before he even asked to be paid. He then charged me a very small amount. See pictures.

Rick responded immediately to my request and was able to schedule a time same day to assist with the my project. I met Rick and I had something in mind and after brainstorming we came up with an idea that actually made the trailer more user friendly in the future!!! Would recommend to anyone needing metal or welding work!!

Stainless table looks great - nice finish. Rick is also so honest, he got the materials at a lower price so he charged me less than the quote.
