I thoroughly enjoyed working with Angela. Within minutes she was able to pinpoint my weak areas, build my confidence levels and taught me how to sing like "me". I am looking forward to many additional lessons to come.Dec 12, 2017Verified
Angela is wonderful! She has a bunch of experience, and still sings professionally, which is awesome and what I really wanted in a singing instructor. One lesson and Yhe progress I've seen is like day and night! I can't wait to continue!Mar 3, 2015Verified
Singing Lessons (for adults)
I have been working with Angela for the past 6 months. Not only have I seen my confidence in my voice grow, but I've explored musical genres that I never thought I could ever sing. She is incredibly patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. She will make sure she is teaching excellent technique, and she will quickly let you know when you are doing something that could damage your voice. I look forward to continuing my voice lessons with Angela!May 16, 2017Verified
I have had two lessons thus far and I'm really enjoying the process. It's a pleasure working with Angela, I look forward to every session. I was nervous at first, but that kind of melted away during the session, she really makes you feel at ease and gives direction that promotes building confidenceMay 14, 2020Verified
Angela is a wonderful teacher. She is very professional, and very good at tailoring lessons to the student's needs. Would absolutely recommend.Jul 1, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?30 minute lessons are $45. 1 hour lessons are $70. I do offer a discounted lesson package. $5 off per lesson if you purchase your lessons monthly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For new students, I ask them to sing a song for me so that I may access their voice. We then do some ear training and then I teach them the correct way of breathing. I then have them apply to this new breathing to new vocal exercises that I team them. With my continuing students, we have 10-15 minutes of vocal warm up exercises and then we work on their assigned music.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've loved singing from the time I was 3 years old. I couldn't imagine doing anything else!
