Introduction: I offer personal chef and catering services. Created with two goals in mind -- to satisfy and fulfill the hungry soul -- Gullah Café was born. Owner and chef, Wendy M. Thompson, a New Jersey native now residing in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, sought to bring the world a unique and flavorful combination of hearty, mouthwatering Southern, Caribbean cuisine that would entice all appetites. Gullah Café offers a wide range of Southern, American and Caribbean style appetizers, beverages, entrees and desserts from recipes collected over the years from a long lineage of mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and uncles from the deep South and the Caribbean Islands.
