Ortiz Flooring did an amazing job installing LVP in my home! Initially thought of doing it as DIY but realized I wouldn't have the time. When I reached out to Ortiz Flooring on Thumbtack, they were incredibly responsive — came out same day for measurements and provided estimates within minutes, followed up with detailed email estimates for the 2 options I requested, all within the same day.
I had 2 floors of carpet and 1 floor of engineered hardwood to replace (approx 2,100 sq ft). They didn't push me to change the middle floor but clearly explained the pros and cons of keeping it, which I appreciated.
The staircase replacement looks absolutely stunning — like real wood but at a fraction of the cost of a traditional wooden staircase. They were professional, punctual, and very easy to work with. The work quality is excellent — the flooring looks fantastic, and their attention to detail on the stairs and transitions really stands out. They were also flexible with materials I had already purchased and explained their process clearly.
I highly recommend Ortiz Flooring for anyone looking for a reliable and skilled team!

Craftsmanship & Customer Service Still Exist!
Background – We purchased our house 1.5 yrs ago. LOTS of work to be done, with many projects as DIY and some outsourced. Therefore, we consider the ROI on each project.
Our Goal: Replace heavily trafficked carpet areas -family room, stairs & upstairs hall with LVP.
From start to finish, communication with Alvaro (owner) and Kristin (Administrative Assistant), was excellent. Emails were responded to within minutes or at most a few hours.
We liked the flexibility of our purchasing the LVP through Lowes, and using my husband’s veteran discount. Ortiz flooring picked up order.
Diego and Adrian were the two young men who removed old carpeting, installed the underlayment, LVP, quarter round molding, new risers & painted. What a work ethic! They were extremely conscientious, pleasant, and made sure every measurement was correct. If not quite right, a piece was re-cut. The job took two days. Note to Photos: I was so busy painting the Family Room, I forgot to take before shot. Huge improvement though.
Bottomline – Would we use Ortiz Flooring again? Absolutely!

Super impressed with these guys. They knocked out my whole house, took out the mix of carpet, hardwood, and that old LPT, did the stairs too, and put in all new LVP. It came out clean. They were fast, the price was way better than I expected, and the whole thing was just easy. If youre thinking about getting new floors, Id definitely recommend them.
