FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the client and their fitness goals a little better is always my first step. Consultations are a great way to get more information than what might have been talked about during the initial visit. To build an effective program I need to know what makes the client tick, what are their patterns when they are stressed and what their daily lives look like. Customizing and formatting a program that fits THEM will not only make my job easier but will deliver better and longer lasting results.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weight loss will always be a goal of clientele in the fitness industry, but Impact Training focuses on FAT loss. It doesn't matter if you have 50 pounds to lose or 10 pounds to lose, we all want to look better, feel stronger and live healthier. We believe that in order to see results it must not be based workout to workout, or nutrition plan to nutrition plan; instead we must focus on a lifestyle change!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview your trainer. This is the person you need to have on speed dial when you are at the grocery story or dinner and have no idea what to eat. He or she will be the one setting your goals, making you accountable and shaping your progress for the next sessions. Client's need to feel confident in their trainer's ability and the only way is to use a consultation as an interview. Great trainers will qualify clients in the same way. I am not going to take on someone that isn't serious about their health and a client shouldn't' hire a trainer that isn't serious about them.
